How to Create a Workspace

TIP: To create a workspace, you first need to know if you have permission to do so or not. The ability to create a workspace in Huddle is sometimes reserved for Administrators only.

 

To find out if you can create a workspace, do the following: 

 

1) Log in to Huddle and click on the create a new workspace button on your dashboard above your notifications. Or Find the create a new workspace button at the bottom of your drop-down workspace list.

2) Click on the create a new workspace + button.

 3) Select the account that you want to create your workspace underneath.

4) Click on Next.

This is where you find out if you can proceed or if someone else needs to set up the workspace for you.

 

You will not be able to create the workspace if you see this message

I) What to do if you cannot create a workspace

 .

1) Fill in the Workspace Title and Message text boxes in the window that popped up when you clicked on next.

2) Click on Send Request.

3) Your workspace request has been sent to your Huddle Administrator(s). They will create the workspace for you.

II) How to create a workspace

 

1) Log in to Huddle and click on the create a new workspace button at the top of your drop-down workspace list.

2) Click on the create a new workspace + button.

3) Select the account that you want to create your workspace underneath.

4) Click on Next.

5) Start by filling in the information requested in the window that popped up when you clicked on Next.

6) Choose to use a previous workspace as a template if desired, by clicking on the title of the workspace you want in the drop-down menu.

7) Type in the name of your workspace in the Title field, you can modify this later if needed.

8) Add a description to the workspace overview by typing something about the space in the last box. Alternatively, you can do this in the Settings tab of the workspace later on. 

9) Click on Create Workspace.

10) You will be automatically redirected to your new workspace.
