Being logged out after little time or unable to login

Huddle Web users who find themselves being logged out or unable to login
No extra access that they don't have should be required to follow this guide.
This article covers troubleshooting steps to resolve the situation when a user are logs in to Ideagen Collaboration Portal and they are seeing Oops there was an error or they are logged out again after only a short period of time has passed.
They might also experience being told there is already and active session if they login to another device.
Time synchronization checks
Check the time settings on both devices:
- What time is currently shown on the working device?
- What time is currently shown on the new device?
- Are both devices using the same time and time zone?
- If there is any difference, this needs fixing as our authentication flow uses time-sensitive security tokens, which require the device time to closely match our server time.
Time synchronization fix
- Press
Windows Key + Ito open Settings - Go to Time & Language → Date & Time
- Turn ON "Set time automatically"
- Click "Sync now"
- Once the time has been synced,, close all browser windows completely
- Open a new browser (or use Incognito mode) and try logging into Huddle again.
If this issues persist then please raise it with support providing screenshots of this setting on your installation to confirm this is in place.
