BACKUP AND SECURITY:
- Huddle utilizes several tools and techniques to safeguard customer content and metadata to protect the integrity of our service.
Services are hosted in Rackspace and AWS managed data centres.
All servers within Rackspace have daily filesystem backups taken by Rackspace Managed Backup (weekly full, daily differential) and retained for fourteen days. These are complementary to our backup policies.
Customer content is stored in file-stores, and metadata is stored in databases:
- All customer content uploaded to Huddle is stored in Amazon S3. S3 is fully resilient with real-time replication across multiple Availability Zones.
- Metadata for customer content is stored across multiple databases.
- Full backups of all databases are taken daily.
