How do I subscribe to RSS for Huddle?
To subscribe to an RSS feed click on the orange RSS logo whenever you see it on your Dashboard or Workspace Overview. Depending on which RSS reader you are using you can either add the feed directly from the web page or you will need to paste the URL for the feed into your reader.
What is RSS?
RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it. In Huddle you can subscribe to feeds for My Notifications from your Dashboard and What's new from your Dashboard as well as within a Huddle Homepage. RSS will then be delivered automatically to your feed reader whenever another activity occurs.
What is anonymous RSS?
There are two types of RSS feed; Anonymous and Authenticated. If you select Authenticated, people will have to set up their username and password for Huddle in their RSS reader before they can read the feed. If you select Anonymous (default), people will be able to read the feed in clear text in their reader, but will still have to log into huddle to get access to the huddle itself.
How do I change my RSS settings?
You can alter your RSS settings in Huddle by clicking on your profile and clicking on RSS Options . If you are a Workspace Manager you can change the settings for that specific workspace through your Workspace Manager tab and clicking on Edit Workspace Settings.
